Hi, I'm Isaac, and MetaCube3D is my studio. The cats here are mine: Dinger, Newton, and Truffle. We lost Newton two years ago, and Truffle some years before him. I know what it's like to scroll through old photos, wishing you'd taken more.
We lost Truffle before I ever made one of these, so all I have of him are photos like the one here. Newton's crystal is the one in the dark section above. That one I made for myself.
My hope is simple: to help anyone grieving a beloved pet keep a physical memory of them, the way Newton's crystal does for me.
How it works

One of us looks at it personally. Almost every clear photo passes.
Once your photo passes and you've paid, we prepare one design preview (one minor adjustment included). Nothing is engraved until you approve it.

A laser forms the portrait point by point inside the crystal: thousands of tiny points of light, suspended in glass with real depth. That's what you're seeing rotate below. Nothing is printed on the surface, so there is nothing on top to peel or rub away.

Both options include the crystal, the 3D engraving, their name, an LED base and gift packaging. The only difference is the base.

Our promise
You approve exactly how they'll look before we ever touch the crystal. We check every piece by hand before it ships. And if what arrives still doesn't match what you approved, we remake it, on us, not you.
"Is my photo good enough?"
Almost certainly. Most everyday phone photos engrave beautifully, and we still check every photo personally before you pay, so nothing is left to chance. As a rough guide:

If they've already passed and all you have is one imperfect photo, send it to us anyway. It will usually work better than you expect. For older or blurry photos, enhancement is available from +S$10 after review (it improves many images, though it can't recreate detail that was never there).
And it doesn't have to be a goodbye. Plenty of families make theirs while their old friend is still napping beside them.

Most photos pass. In the rare case one won't do them justice, we'll tell you before you've paid anything.

Pets are what this page is for, but crystal doesn't mind who it remembers. We've engraved parents, children and whole families too. If you'd like one made of a person, just ask us the same way.
Common questions
Can two pets go in one crystal?
Yes. One or two pets engrave beautifully in this size, like Dinger & Newton above. For three or more, WhatsApp us the photo first and we'll advise whether it works or whether separate crystals would do them justice.
My pet has passed and I only have a few photos. Will they work?
Very likely, yes. Send them over. Cluttered backgrounds are fine, since we isolate your pet for the engraving, and most photos work better than their owners expect. For older or blurry ones, enhancement is available from +S$10 after review.
Is it a real 3D engraving?
We create a 3D-relief engraving from your single photo. The portrait has depth and appears suspended inside the crystal. It's not a full 360° scan of your pet (no photo can provide that), and we'd rather you know exactly what you're getting.
Do I pay before or after the photo check?
The manual photo check is free, before any payment. Once your photo passes and you place your order, we prepare the design artwork. That part happens after payment, because preparing it has real costs on our side.
Do I get a preview before engraving?
Yes. After payment we prepare one design preview for your approval, with one minor adjustment included. Nothing is engraved until you approve it.
What if the finished crystal isn't right?
If the piece that arrives doesn't match the preview you approved, or arrives damaged, we remake it at no cost. That covers our side: a production or delivery fault. It doesn't cover a change of mind or a different photo after you've approved the design, since the crystal is engraved to your approval and can't be undone. If we can't reach a preview you're happy with in the first place, we refund you before anything is engraved.
Can I change the photo after payment?
Please choose the photo carefully before paying. If artwork preparation has already begun, switching to a new photo or major rework may carry a small additional processing fee. We'll always tell you before any extra cost.
How long does it take?
5–7 working days from preview approval, engraved here in Singapore. Rush pieces may be possible in 2–3 working days for +S$20, subject to capacity, so ask us first.
Can I add their name or dates?
If you'd like. It's optional and included in the price. Their name, dates, or a short line (e.g. "2011–2025 · Always our boy") beneath the portrait; or keep the crystal just them. Tell us when you order.
